So with all these issues, I'm kinda considering giving up with Wacom. I got totally disappointed with Wacom again. I have even heard that this model (that I got it months ago) is not supported anymore. I tried Wacom support but with no success, they don't even answer the calls, pretty much a joke. The table doesn't have even a year and now I have the tablet here that doesn't work. Hi, I have the Wacom Intuos S, it also stopped working, keeps saying "No Wacom device connected." I tried everything I could do to fix the issue of the drivers including some article that is mentioned somewhere here, but no success. Hope you figure it out! If these tutorials don't work for you on the first go I'd just call wacom support, and if that fails, apple support, rather than wasting your life-time in a state of fruitless archaic tech frustration. Felt pretty dumb-īUT- This was after I had already manually reset all the permissions as tasked both here:ĭespite my having not connected the cables properly, I still needed to go through these steps in order to have the cintiq communicate with my computer correctly- just that, it probably would have fixed the issue right away rather than me then stressing out for an additional two days before realizing the cintiq usb was not my printer. It had been so long since I last connected my cintiq I just totally forgot it was a thing. Yeah embarrassingly enough it turns out when switching over the maze of cables from my old computer to the new one I totally forgot that my ancient Cintiq not only needs to be connected via the video to usb-c connector that connects the screen, but also a usb 2.0 cable that connects the pen capabilities, and I mistook the cintiq's usb connector for that of my printer, which had fallen behind the desk. We can all get frustrated sometimes, even at Wacom. And include exact tablet/cintiq models, instead of just saying "Wacom tablet".
